1. Q: What is the time difference between the United States and Romania?
A: Romania is 8 hours ahead of the United States.

2. Q: Can we drink the water?

A: No.  Plenty of bottled water will be provided for your stay.

3. Q: How much luggage can we carry?
A: Due to security factors this information may change but at this time
Each ticketed passenger can check two pieces of luggage of no more than 50 pounds each. Contact your airline to get up to date information about luggage.

4. Q: What kind of clothing do we wear?
A: Ladies need to wear skirts or jumpers. Because it is cold in the winter it is wise to layer. Men need to wear Dockers or slacks. Everyone needs warm water resistant boots in the winter. Cool clothing of shirts and t-shirts are needed in the summer. No shorts or short skirts. We do not wear jewelry. You may wear a watch and if married, you may wear a wedding band. Due to the customs ladies are not to wear make-up while ministering.

7. Q: How long is the flight to Romania?
A: 
From Atlanta to Amsterdam or Paris is about 8 hours. From Amsterdam or Paris to Budapest is 2 hours. From Budapest to Romania is 3-4 hours.

8. Q: What means of transportation do we use when arriving in Romania?
A: We will use nice chartered buses to travel to Romania and usually private automobiles in the villages.

9. Q: Where do we sleep while in Romania?
A: We will either be in hotels or bed and breakfast.

10. Q: What kind of food will we eat?
A: The Romanian diet is high in carbohydrates due to the bread and potatoes they love. Each meal will normally consist of several courses including meats and chesses, soup, slaw/salad, chicken, pork, creamed potatoes and bread followed by dessert. You will eat well and if you are not careful you will put on a few pounds.

11. Q: Are we safe in Romania?
A: The Romanians are very kind and peace loving people. We have never encountered any problems on our projects. Like anywhere it is advisable to always have control of your personal belonging to discourage thievery.

12. Q: How much money do we need to bring?
A: All lodging, transportation, and meals are included in the cost of the project. You will need to cover the cost of any long distance phone calls, souvenirs, sodas purchased at the hotel/restaurants and three meals during our sightseeing stay.
